Hello, as you can already read at the top of this page, I’m Miguel Dianda, a copy based (English and Spanish) Creative Director.
I became a copywriter when I was 21, in a very small agency. After 4 years and a student’s GP at El Ojo de Iberoamérica I got a job in a big agency: Publicis Buenos Aires. Then, I went to Ogilvy Argentina and, after that, to JWT Buenos Aires.
After working in several global pitches and workshops in Sao Paulo, London and New York, I decided that it was time for me to find a job abroad.
That's how I ended up at the MENA region for 6 years and, during that time, I worked at ImpactBBDO, TBWA/RAAD, JWT Dubai and MullenLowe MENA.
Now I’m back home since 2020 with my wife and my 6 year old son Ciro, first leading the creative WPP GSK Wunderman Thompson Buenos Aires Borderless Team (Otrivin, Theraflu, AquaFresh and parodontax were our main brands) and after that working 14 months at La America (former Mother Buenos Aires).
In these 20 years as a creative, I’ve worked for global brands such as Bayer, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Ford, Brahma, Kraft, Renault, PizzaHut and Nissan, among many others.
Part of my work has been shortlisted and awarded at the main festivals around the globe: New York Festival, Cannes Lion Health, Effie, Cannes Lion, El Sol, El Ojo Iberoamérica, Dubai Lynx, The Loeries, El Diente and Lürzer’s Archive.
I participated as Jury at El Diente CCA 2022 PR, Promo & Activation, the JWT MENA regional creative council, as part of the Preliminary Jury at the ADSTARS 2020 Film Category, Jury at the UAE Young Lions competition in 2016 and as a Jury at Radio Category CCA 2009 (Argentinian Creative Circle).
I’ve also written and co-directed two short films. Both of them were also rewarded at many local and global festivals.
